Nature Spirits are also called devas. The Devic Kingdom was created by God just after the creation of our Elder Brothers, the Angels. The Devas are to Nature as the Angels are to Humankind. Devas are the keepers of the patterns of Nature. Each species of plant and animal has its own overlighting Deva. Just as each human being has his or her guardian angel, each plant has its own Nature Spirit. Indeed, there are Spirits of Nature for places like valleys, mountains, bays, oceans, et cetera.

This particular blue Nature Spirit is a spirit of air. In our popular culture the memory of these Spirits’ existence lingers in our language in phrases such as "that old North Wind." This Blue Beauty is a Deva of Air, the wind on a crisp, cool day when the hint of Winter is just beginning.
